CALIFORNIALIVE is a Europe wide tasting series, organised by importers, joined by our vintners and supported by the California Wine Institute

The California Wines Tasting Tour Africa, a unique opportunity to learn more about the world’s fourth-largest wine region: California. Guests had the chance to join our passionate winemakers and taste a wide selection of Californian wines from different regions and grape varieties. During the event we hosted a special “California Road Trip” seminar, offering participants an introduction to California’s diverse wine regions. We want to thank everyone who attended and shared this exceptional experience with us!

Prowein 2025 was a remarkable success, attracting around 42,000 key professionals from 128 countries to Düsseldorf. The event featured approximately 4,200 exhibitors from 65 nations, showcasing their wines and spirits across eleven exhibition halls. All major wine regions were represented by leading market players, ensuring a comprehensive and diverse selection. California made a significant impact at Prowein, with 60 wineries proudly representing the region. These wineries showcased a wide array of award-winning wines, highlighting the quality, innovation, and diversity that California is renowned for. Attendees had the unique opportunity to connect directly with California vintners, explore the latest vintages, and learn about the region’s commitment to sustainable practices and winemaking excellence. Despite the challenging market conditions, Prowein maintained an exceptionally high level of quality, reinforcing its position as a leading global wine and spirits trade fair. The impressive presence of California wineries further underscored the region’s influence and importance in the global wine industry.

25 California wineries and 30 German VDP wineries presented their award-winning wines

Wine Paris 2025 was a major success, attracting over 52,000 visitors from 154 countries. Many of these visited the California Wines Barn, which hosted 50 California wineries. Trade and media guests connected with many of our vintners and  tasted the new vintages of their award-winning wines. New at Wine Paris was our seminar program, featuring top industry speakers. Almost 500 guests enjoyed learning more about our regions, varietals and sustainable programs. We already look forward to the 2026 edition, hope to see you there.
